Winner of Yuk Yuk’s Top New Comic and Edmonton’s Funniest Person, Brett Forte’s rise through the stand-up ranks has been anything but ordinary. He was chosen for Just For Laughs’ New Faces, became a favourite at The Hollywood Comedy Festival, and somehow managed to get his comedy special banned from Canadian Television — a badge of honour he wears proudly.

Now based in Austin, TX, Brett headlines major clubs across North America including The Hollywood Improv, Phoenix House of Comedy, and Austin Sunset Strip. When he’s not onstage, he moonlights as a vigilante, recently spending five months undercover infiltrating a major scammers operation (a fake Saudi Arabian princess who attempted to rip off 45,000 people before Forte landed her in jail).
